A Statement by the Magisterial Council                                                                            3\/24\/2022<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We, the Magisterial Council of the Ordre Souverain et Militaire du Temple de J\u00e9rusalem<\/em> (OSMTJ), <\/em>feeling compelled to respond to a recent, unrelenting campaign of disorder, make the following statement:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. We accept the results of the election for Grandmaster held on January 2, 2020, with BG Ronald S. Mangum, PhD, JD, (US Army Ret.) as the lawful Grandmaster, whom We continue to strongly support.<\/li>
2. The Grandmaster has certain powers designated to his authority under the Statutes and Rules of the Order. This role is not merely ceremonial. The autonomous Grand Priories hold whatsoever powers are not specifically delegated to the International Structure in the Statutes of the Order.<\/li>
3. The removal and expulsion of Timothy Bryant Jones was a lawful act in the authority of the Grandmaster according to the Statutes. Therefore, We recognize that Timothy Bryant Jones is no longer Grand Chancellor, nor Grand Prior of the USA, nor does he have any authority to call for elections within our Order, nor do We accept any case to be made for a new election. Furthermore, We support none of the actions taken by Timothy Bryant Jones that lead to his expulsion.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

   We disavow all discord and unseemly politicking as contrary to the spirit and purpose of the Temple, and We commit to move forward to continue the charitable and chivalrous mission that is the foundation of our Order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

   Let all Knights and Dames of the Order recognize these words. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Nous acceptons les r\u00e9sultats de l’\u00e9lection du Grand Ma\u00eetre qui s’est tenue le 2 janvier 2020, avec BG Ronald S. Mangum, PhD, JD, (retrait\u00e9 de l’arm\u00e9e am\u00e9ricaine) comme Grand Ma\u00eetre l\u00e9gitime, que nous continuons \u00e0 soutenir fermement.<\/li>
      2. Le Grand Ma\u00eetre a certains pouvoirs d\u00e9sign\u00e9s \u00e0 son autorit\u00e9 en vertu des Statuts et R\u00e8gles de l’Ordre. Ce r\u00f4le n’est pas simplement c\u00e9r\u00e9moniel.
